Laser die-cutting for cut-outs and outlines too fine for a conventional die, with no die to make. Each label can carry its own number, batch and QR code.

A die is the cutting blade that gives a label its shape. In conventional production, one has to be made for every shape, and that costs time and money, especially on short runs. With laser die-cutting, the cut is made by a beam guided by the design file itself: the shape is changed on the computer, not in the workshop. ## When it makes sense

### What file do you need to cut the shape?

A vector file with the cut line kept separate from the artwork. If you do not have one, our design team will prepare it with you, starting from your design.

### How is it different from a conventional die?

The result is the same, a label in the exact shape, but without the cost of making the blade or the wait for it. That is why laser cutting shines on short runs and complex shapes.

### Can it be combined with other finishes?
