Every garment on sale needs a label that says what it is made of and how to care for it. We print them with the composition, the care symbols and the size, alongside your brand, and deliver them cut to size and ready to sew, with nothing else for you to do. ## What goes on a composition label

- **The composition** of the fabrics, as percentages.
- **The care symbols** : washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and professional cleaning.
- **The size** and, if you wish, the product code or batch number.
- **Your brand** and any other details you want to add, in one or several languages.

The content is set by textile labelling regulations and supplied by you; we make sure it reads clearly and stays legible after many washes.

## Materials

Polyester, hard-wearing and well suited to colour printing; satin, with a soft feel and a glossy finish; and cotton, among others. We print on one or both sides, which is very useful when the composition is given in several languages. Grafidel holds Oeko-Tex certificate 20190K1, issued by AITEX.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why cut rather than on a roll?

Because that way you do not need a cutter: the label arrives at the right size and is sewn straight on. If you cut your own labels on your production line, [textile tape on a roll](https://grafidel.com/en/services/printed-textile-tape) will suit you better.

### What if the label goes inside a seam?

Then the [cut and folded](https://grafidel.com/en/services/folded-textile-labels) version is the one for you, as it is sewn straight into the neck or side seam.

### Can I combine it with a woven label?
